Facial/cosmetic acupuncture has been used for centuries and was first introduced for its aesthetic benefits amongst Chinese dynasties.  More recently, as an alternative to Botox and cosmetic fillers, it has attracted great attention in Japan, Hong Kong, Sweden, and more recently Hollywood.

Unlike cosmetic surgery, cosmetic acupuncture is non-invasive. Fine needles gently stimulate blood flow, energy and the production of collagen.  This plumps up the skin to reduce fine lines, wrinkles and the signs of ageing.  Cosmetic acupuncture can be used to reduce bags under the eyes, drooping eyebrows and sagging jowls.

Facial/cosmetic acupuncture treatments not only focus on points on the face, but also on points on the arms and legs to help balance any internal disharmonies that may have an effect on the face and complexion.

Courses of treatment are typically 10 - 12 treatments with each treatment lasting 1.5 hours.

Benefits can last over a year, although top-up sessions may be required. This will be discussed towards the end of the course.
