About Me

My mid-life change of career into Traditional Chinese Medicine was the result of a personal experience. Acupuncture was the only treatment that cured my long-standing martial art-related knee injury that Western medicine had been unable to help.

At the time, although I was in significant pain, I was sceptical about how needles would work but my martial arts teacher was a qualified Traditional Chinese Acupuncturist and he insisted he could help. Eventually I succumbed to his insistence and by the 4th treatment I was overwhelmed by the progress and reduction in pain.  I was hooked by the potential power of the approach and treatment and the rest is history. Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture have literally changed my life.

After 4 years of study to degree level (BSc), I qualified in 2008 in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Acupuncture and Tui Na massage from the London College of Traditional Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (LCTA).

I also trained in Cosmetic and Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture and  Auricular (ear) Acupuncture.

From 2008 until 2020, I was a member of the Treatment Team, led by Paul Blacker, at New Ash Green Rugby Club (NAGRFC).

I am always happy to talk to people about how Acupuncture or any other treatment I offer can help them.

I adhere to the standards of the British Acupuncture Council Codes of Conduct and Practice.
